Take Off on the Bikes
Location: Council Bluffs Bike Trail Head
Time: 9:30
As the Troop gets ready to take off on their bikes for a 20 mile Bike Ride, the skys will be mostly sunny, temperatures near 55-60 degrees. The Key is for the wind to be at the back of the scouts when they bike ride. The Wind will be North Northwest most of the day and sometimes Westerly. The trail goes east and mostly Southeast on this trail
Day Time Forecast
Sky's will be mostly sunny throughout the day with temperatures pretty warming around 80 degrees in Silver City and Malvern Iowa. Winds will continue to be West Northwest 20-30 mph. While the wind is the perfect position to your back, it will be strong at 20-30 MPH. but overall, perfect weather for Biking.
Night Time Forecast
Sky's should be mostly clear throughout the night with low in the lower 50s, but in low lying areas in the upper 40's. Winds should calm down and be generally light
Bike Ride Back to Council Bluffs
Time: 8:30-11:00 AM
The ride back should be a bit more difficult then the ride their. Winds should still be Western Northwest and that is the exact direction you will be heading in. Though, the silver lining should be that the winds calm down to 5-15 MPH. Temperatures should be in the upper 50's warming into the 60.s By the time you arrive at the Trail Head, temperatures should be in the 70's.
